Crude humour and toilet jokes are the order of the day with the release of SOUL PLANE but that doesn’t have to be a bad thing if a movie achieves its goal and makes you laugh.

Nashawn (Kevin Hart) is a ‘try hard but doesn’t really succeed’ businessman who takes a flight, gets food poisoning from a meal that he didn’t want, then gets an injured backside from getting stuck on an aircraft toilet. He swears to sue the airline then does it and wins…millions and millions of dollars.

So what does he do with this kind of money? He starts his own airline of course, complete with a mostly black staff and unusually (for an airline) stylish decor with plenty of street credibility. But his best friend and business partner throws in his own dodgy business ethics and the maiden flight of the ‘soul plane’ is doomed before it takes off.

Fortunately the movie SOUL PLANE is not doomed as Kevin Hart brings some very credible fresh comedic talent to the screen. He is also backed with a strong supporting cast, in particular Tom Arnold as Mr Hunkee one of the only white passengers on the flight and Snoop Dogg as the aircrafts doped up pilot who can’t actually fly, plus a few very hot looking babes and if you’ve seen Sofia Vergara on the poster you will know what I mean.

As long as you have a very open mind and are in the mood to chuckle at it’s rather more than fair share of fart jokes SOUL PLANE will deliver an hour and a half with quite a lot of laughs and if you are watching the DVD the extras aren’t bad either.
