Starring: Dwayne Johnson, Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Elsa Pataky, Luke Evans, Gina Carano
Director: Justin Lin

The FAST AND FURIOUS crew are back once again for another adventure, this time working with the law in the form of Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) who enlists their help to save the world from Shaw (Luke Evans) a criminal mastermind who has stolen a military computer chip worth billions and specialises in thefts using fast cars and faster driving.

To motivate Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Brian (Paul Walker) even more they learn that Shaw is working with Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) who was supposed to have been killed off in a previous movie.

FAST AND FURIOUS 6 is an exciting and action packed adventure with quite an intricate storyline and some incredible driving stunts filling 130 minutes of screen time end to end. Minus one ultra silly stunt in which Toretto catches Letty while hurtling through the air between two motorway bridges, the majority of screen action is truly impressive.

In fact most of the editing in the action scenes is so fast that you will probably need to watch the movie about six times just to take it all in and work out exactly who’s hitting who and who’s driving what at any given moment.

The change in filming location to Europe, mostly London, also gives a fresh edge to the franchise.

Watch out for the final scene of the movie, in part a recreation of a key car chase scene in Tokyo from the 2006 movie THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS: TOKYO DRIFT. This puts TOKYO DRIFT as taking place after FAST AND FURIOUS 6 and introduces a new character to the franchise for the forthcoming FAST AND FURIOUS 7 played by Jason Statham. Can’t wait!
