Ok wow! First off I really love this track. Infernal (Lina Rafn and Paw Lagermann) have been around a while with previous hits in Europe but they’ve only recently impacted on the UK with the massive dance hit FROM PARIS TO BERLIN. Their latest single SELF CONTROL was originally released by Laura Branigan quite a few years back. It was a great song then and now Infernal have completely updated it with their own dance cover version and if the public has any music taste at all it will be a hit again.
SELF CONTROL is not on their current album FROM PARIS TO BERLIN so I would recommend buying the CD singles. If you are only getting one, get the one with the mixes on. They’re all good and stay pretty faithful to the song although the Europeanz mix is exceptional. Even then the Radio edit and the Extended mix for me are still the best. Lina Rafn isn’t just another sexy babe she’s got a great voice with the strength it takes to do justice to the original SELF CONTROL.
