| ALLY McBEAL: Seasons 4
- 5 |
Seasons 4 and 5 of Ally McBeal on DVD have now been re-packaged into six
disc box-sets and re-priced for (rrp.) £19.99.
On it’s initial release, Ally McBeal Season 4 was heralded as the best
season yet, and is packed with hilarious and touching antics. It also
features the arrival of the gorgeous Larry Paul (Robert Downey Jnr)!
After saying goodbye to Brian forever, Ally commiserates with the
female contingent of Fish, Cage & Associates, but is not out of luck
for very long. She quickly stumbles headlong into the arms of the sexy and
charming lawyer, Larry. The course of true love never did run smooth,
however, and Larry has some surprises up his sleeve in the form of a
gorgeous ex-girlfriend and a seven year old son, Sam. Other highlights of
Season 4 include a quirky romance for John ("Reason to Believe”)
and a romantic connection for Mark, though the object of his affection has
a few secrets of her own!
The bitter-sweet finale to the series, Ally McBeal Season 5 is arguably
the most memorable season. An astonishing development is the introduction
of Maddie, Ally’s long lost daughter. Ten years earlier, Ally donated an
egg for a science experiment, which was accidentally implanted in a woman,
and the result is the little girl on her doorstep. With the help of her
sexy plumber Victor (Jon Bon Jovi), she decides to take Maddie under her
wing. When Maddie hits puberty poor Ally has to put her own doubts aside
in order to field a fresh series of questions about smoking, snogging and
sex. The rest of the unforgettable Fish, Cage & Associates team remain
in fine form, including Ling, Nell, Fish and John. And when Ally leaves at
the end of the season fans are also treated with the reappearance of old
friends Renee, Georgia and even a glimpse of Billy!
