Melanie (Gina Rodriguez) takes Old Dolio (Evan Rachel Wood) under her wing and agrees to fulfill Old Dolio’s emotional needs. One day, they stop at a gas station restroom with a broken light when an earthquake hits. Mistaking the darkness for the afterlife, Old Dolio believes she is dead. When Melanie opens the door, Old Dolio rejoices, mesmerized by the store’s plethora of food and beverages, happy to be alive.
