Undercover Miami-Dade Police Detectives Sonny Crockett (Colin Farrell) and Rico Tubbs (Jamie Foxx) pose as drug smugglers and meet with cartel security leader José Yero (John Ortiz). Their assignment screening quickly escalates into a heated standoff: Yero wants to ensure the pair are worthy, while the detectives argue they don’t talk about who they work with as not to blow their cover.
