Formerly inseparable friends, Dave (Jason Bateman) and Mitch’s (Ryan Reynolds) once-close bond has gradually eroded over the years. Dave, now a tirelessly toiling lawyer and devoted family man, stands in stark contrast to Mitch, who has adroitly sidestepped the conventional trappings of adulthood. Each harbors a palpable envy for the other’s life, and after a night of excessive drinking, the two awaken to a baffling reality: they have inexplicably swapped bodies. As Dave and Mitch grapple with this bewildering situation, they soon realize that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side and embark on a quest to restore normalcy to their lives.
