Named one of People magazine’s "50 Most Beautiful People" in 2003, Carlos Bernard returns to 24 for his third season as Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) agent Tony Almeida.

Bernard has played a wide variety of engaging characters in film and television. His film credits include THE COLONEL’S LAST FLIGHT, VEGAS: CITY OF DREAMS, and THE KILLING JAR. He has left his mark on many television series, with notable guest appearances on WALKER, TEXAS RANGER; F/X: THE SERIES; BABYLON 5; and MOLONEY. He was also a regular on the daytime soap THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS.

Bernard began his acting career in the theater, starring in and directing numerous productions. In 2003 he returned to the stage to perform in the Los Angeles production of BLACKOUT.

He attended Illinois State University and graduated from the Master of Fine Arts acting program at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco.
