Ben Affleck (Jim Young) is both an accomplished actor and screenwriter, who is one of Hollywood’s youngest ever to win the Academy Award? for Best Original Screenplay. He received the Academy Award? for GOOD WILL HUNTING, which he co-wrote with friend and fellow actor Matt Damon.

Affleck most recently reunited with director Kevin Smith on the fantastical adventure comedy DOGMA, having received critical acclaim for his roles in Smith’s earlier CHASING AMY and MALLRATS.

Affleck’s other recent roles range from the Oscar©-winning Shakespeare In Love; to the romantic comedy FORCES OF NATURE with Sandra Bullock; to the blockbuster action film ARMAGEDDON opposite Bruce Willis and Liv Tyler; to the edgy ensemble piece 200 CIGARETTES. He received critical notice in Mark Pellington’s adaptation of Dan Wakefield’s best-selling coming-of-age novel GOING ALL THE WAY and has appeared in the Dean Koontz thriller PHANTOMS, Richard Linklater’s cult hit DAZED AND CONFUSED, the controversial SCHOOL TIES and GLORY DAYS. He will next be seen in John Frankenheimer’s casino heist thriller DECEIVED, and his forthcoming projects include Billy Bob Thornton’s DADDY AND THEM; BOUNCE with Gwyneth Paltrow; and THE THIRD WHEEL with Matt Damon.

On television, Affleck starred in the NBC series AGAINST THE GRAIN, as well as several television movies including HBO’s A BODY TO DIE FOR, PBS’ VOYAGE OF THE MIMI and two network films: ALMOST HOME and DADDY.
