Nia Long (Debbie Halpert), is one of Hollywood fast-rising young actresses, with diverse recent roles in the horror hit STIGMATA, the cop thriller IN TOO DEEP and the romantic comedy THE BEST MAN.
After making her debut in John Singleton's groundbreaking BOYZ IN THE HOOD, Long made a critical breakthrough as the female lead in the sexy romantic comedy LOVE JONES, which tied for the Audience Award at the 1997 Sundance Film Festival. She went on to star in the comedy HAV PLENTY and with Vanessa Williams and Vivica A Fox in SOUL FOOD. She was most recently seen in the Jamie Foxx comedy INCONVENIENCED.
On television, Long is known for starring as Will Smith's fiancée Lisa in the NBC hit sitcom THE FRESH PRINCE OF BEL AIR.
