MORE DETAILS

If FULLTIME KILLER was made in the US in English language with a big name Hollywood star, everyone would have heard of the movie. As it stands FULLTIME KILLER’s audience in the US and the UK will be limited to those few who are prepared to accept subtitles and it will be their gain and everyone else’s loss.

This is the story of two hit men, O (Takashi Sorimachi) a quiet, shy loner who is at the top of his profession and Tok (Andy Lau) and extrovert upstart who is about to challenge O head-on both professionally and with the girl O longs to be with. There’s also the law in the form of Interpol agent Lee (Simon Yam) to whom tracking these men has become an obsession and could end up costing him his job.

Admittedly reading subtitles can make a film slightly harder going especially when background colours occasionally blend with the text but stick it out and you’ll get a film to remember with very capable actors and some very decent direction.
