Synopsis
Directed by Danny Boyle, 127 HOURS is based on the book by Aaron
Ralston - the true story of mountain climber Aron Ralston and his
remarkable adventure to survive after a falling boulder crashes down
on his arm and traps him in an isolated canyon in Utah.
Over the next five days Ralston examines his life and is determined
to save himself. Ovecoming fear and the elements he finally
discovers he has the courage and to amputate his own arm, then scale
down a 65 foot wall and hike over 8 miles before he is finally
rescued.
A visceral and thrilling story of survival that will take the
audience on a never before experimental journey and prove what we
can do when we choose life.
