Synopsis
Directed, produced and co-written by Francis Ford Coppola, APOCALYPSE NOW
was originally released in 1979. Re-released with a substantial amount of
extra footage APOCALYPSE NOW REDUX follows the story of an American
soldier Captain Benjamin Willard (Martin Sheen) who has been sent on an
assignment by the army to terminate a fellow, highly decorated colonel
named Walter Kurtz. The colonel, who is allegedly insane and responsible
for murdering hundreds of innocent people, has disappeared deep into the
jungle, worshipped by his followers and has carved out his own kingdom.
