Synopsis
A BETTER LIFE is a touching, poignant story across several
generations about a father's love and the extent a parent will
strive to give his child the opportunities he never had.
Gardener and father, Carlos Galindo (Demian Birchir) lives in East
Los Angeles and is constantly worried for his son mainly from the
gangs that are rife in the area and immigration agents.
Through this narrative the film portrays a side of America that is
rarely seen and is directed by Chris Weitz (ABOUT A BOY, THE GOLDEN
COMPASS).
