Synopsis

It's 1765 and the ruling monarch of France, King Louis XV, is facing mounting unrest from his people. Large numbers of women and children are being savagely killed in a rural part of France by an unseen, immensely strong and intelligent creature that has continued it's onslaught on the inhabitants of this region for years, unchecked and successfully evading capture thus far. With no option but to quell the rising unrest, King Louis XV despatches an unconventional team including his blood brother and a renowned scientist to devise a plan to end the beast's reign of terror.
