Synopsis
Paris 1913
Igor Stravinsky has the premiere of his The Rite Of Spring at the
Theatre Des Champs-Elysées. Coco Chanel is in the audience and is
mesmerized. But his revolutionary work is too modern and too radical
for the audience who voice their discontent and direct their wrath
at it. Stravinsky is inconsolable.
Seven years later, Coco Chanel is now wealthy, respected and
successful. When she meets Stravinsky he is a poverty stricken
refugee living in exile in Paris after the Russian Revolution.
Despite their different circumstances, their attraction to each
other is spontaneous and electric.
When Coco offers Stravinsky the use of her villa in Garches to
enable him to pursue his work, he doesn’t hesitate and moves in
immediately, with his children and consumptive wife. And so a
passionate, intense love affair between two creative giants
begins...
