Synopsis
"What if your urban legends were real..."
As youngsters growing up on Staten Island they'd be told about the
legend of Cropsey - an escaped mental patient who preyed on children
and abducted them. Later as teenagers they deduced that Cropsey was
an urban legend until the summer of 1987 when a 13 year-old girl
called Jennifer Schweiger disappeared.
Returning to their hometown as adults, Joshua and Barbara
investigate the mystery behind the abductions of five children in
this feature length documentary CROPSEY.
