Catching a lift with Mimi’s handsome, mysterious friend Ben (Anson Mount) in his ’73 Buick convertible, the girls embark on their adventure with practically no organisation, hardly any money but plenty of dreams, the girls. Along the way they not only gather experiences that will change their lives forever, but they also discover how important it is to hold onto their hearts’ desires. A movie about how the dreams and expectations of teenagers change as they cross into adulthood, CROSSROADS is also about the excitement and pressure that accompanies young people on their journey, and about learning not to take people or things at surface value. The movie explores issues that are important to young people, especially the significance of loyalty, family, friends and first love. |
