Synopsis
Five college students go away for a weekend retreat to Tennessee to a
remote cabin in the woods and by accident find the Book of the Dead
disturbing demons that take control of their bodies. One by one the
friends are possessed with the exception of Ash (Bruce Campbell).
THE EVIL DEAD was the debut feature film of renowned director Sam Raimi
and spawned two sequels EVIL DEAD 2 (1987) and ARMY OF DARKNESS (1993). A
low budget flick, it is now a cult film and is noted for its ingenious
camera use and gruesomely gory special effects usage.
