Synopsis

”Some dreams are worth the fight.”

Small-town boy Shawn MacArthur (Channing Tatum) is trying to earn enough just to exist on the streets of New York as a counterfeit goods’ seller. Con artist Harvey Boarden (Terrence Howard) spots a natural talent in him and offers Shawn the chance at making real cash.

They form an uneasy partnership and as Shawn’s manager Harvey introduces him to the corrupt bare-knuckle circuit. Here rich men bet on disposable fighters. Winning is the only option for progression in this deadly, dark world and Shawn becomes an overnight sensation defeating established fighters.

However, if Shawn ever hopes to escape the underbelly of this violent world he must now face the toughest fight of his life.
