She just wants to be treated like anyone else. To be… normal. But it’s not going to be easy, because Sam’s home address is 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, and her dad is John Mackenzie (Michael Keaton), the President of the United States. Now living thousands of miles away from the White House, Sam hopes that being out on her own means she’ll be free of the constraints of being the First Daughter. But everywhere she turns there’s a Secret Service agent at the ready, and her fellow freshmen won’t let her stop being the most famous student in the country. Sam’s roommate, Mia (Amerie), is determined to have fun – and take Sam along for the ride. Sam’s adventures get even more interesting when she meets and falls head over heels for James (Marc Blucas), the Resident Advisor in her dorm. However, a cruel twist of fate reveals James is harbouring a secret that jeopardises his relationship with Sam. Feeling hurt and betrayed, Sam sets out to exact her revenge... and when President Mackenzie finds out about them things get even messier! It’s up to Sam to try and win James and her dad over and make her dad realise that his baby girl has grown up… this little girl has turned into a lady.
