Treasure hunting couple Benjamin "Finn" Finnegan (Matthew McConaughey) and his wife Tess (Kate Hudson) have spent the last eight years searching for the ultimate prize - finding the legendary 18th century Queen's Dowry - 40 chests of priceless treasure lost when the ship sunk in 1715. Their quest has left them flat broke and exhausted all their efforts to succeed. On the verge of divorce as their relationship has suffered under the strain of this elusive search, a newly discovered clue breathes life into their current situation to give them an unexpected but much needed fresh start. The trouble is they're not the only ones hunting the treasure. Finn's one-time mentor Moe Fitch (Ray Winstone) and a ruthless local gangster, Bigg Bunny (Kevin Hart) will stop at nothing to get their first.
