Synopsis
Join “Fred,” the incredible YouTube Sensation in his first movie
as he sets off on a brand new adventure to get to his true love Judy
(Pixie Lott), all the while thwarting his nemesis Kevin, on his most
hilarious outing yet. Lionsgate UK will release Fred: The Movie in
cinemas this Christmas.
Fred is in love with the girl next door, Judy. But his nemesis
neighbour Kevin, thwarts all attempts Fred makes to see her, and
when he finally succeeds in making it over to Judy’s house –
she’s moved! With the advice of his super cool dad (John Cena),
Fred embarks on an epic journey full of gut-busting fun to find her.
So, jump in the kiddie pool and join Fred, Bertha (Jennette
McCurdy), and the whole gang for a hilarious good time in Fred: The
Movie!
Fred, with his unique brand of humor, has accumulated over
530,000,000 views on YouTube while his YouTube
Channel is the second most subscribed to channel of all time
with 1.8 million individual subscribers.
Through the movie, the millions of fans of Fred will be very
excited to meet, for the first time, many of the hilarious
characters in Fred’s world that Fred refers to in his YouTube
videos. The movie also
promises to build Fred’s fan base with its unique blend of humor
and zany awkwardness that the entire family can enjoy together.
Lucas Cruikshank, who stars as ‘Fred’, is the creator of this
character that emerged as a YouTube fan favourite almost
immediately, with fans and subscribers always returning for more of
the zany escapades of this quirky kid.

that his online community awareness has produced, and he continues
