Synopsis
Senior Charley Brewster (Anton Yelchin) finally gets in with the
popular crowd and is dating the hottest girl in high school. But
trouble arrives when an intriguing stranger Jerry Dandrige (Colin
Farrell) becomes his neighbour and moves in next door. Jerry seems a
great guy but there's something not quite right. Charley can’t put
his finger on it. Yet no one, including his mom, Jane (Toni
Collette), seems to notice!
After witnessing some very bizarre activity, Charley comes to an
unmistakable conclusion: Jerry is a vampire preying on his
neighbourhood. Unable to convince anyone that he's telling the
truth, it’s up to Charley to find a way to get rid of the monster
himself.
Director Craig Gillespie’s revamp of the comedy-horror classic.
