Through a comic chain of events involving blackmail and brute force, the band begins to realize that real life sometimes has even more stomach-turning drops and g-forces than the rock 'n' roll coaster they've been waiting to get on. Kick Gurry (Buffalo Soldiers) stars as Freddy, the lead singer of an underground Aussie rock band, and Pia Miranda (Queen of the Damned) as Tanya, his girlfriend and bass guitarist. Along with the rest of the band, their quest for rock n’ roll success has wild and amusing consequences! By a stroke of luck, Freddy befriends a top rock manager, but must convince him to let the band perform in order for the band to get their big break. At the same time Freddy is struggling with the feelings he is developing for Kate (Maya Stange), his band mate’s girlfriend. When Freddy and the rest of the band get a backstage pass to wild rock gigs, they embark on a drug-taking, music-making, pokie-breaking trip through the underbelly of Aussie rock and roll. The band finally gets the chance to prove itself, but will they blow it when the pressure is on?
