A few months later, Rose (Carey Mulligan) shows up at the Brewer’s house announcing that she is pregnant with Bennett’s child and they feel compelled to take her in. At first, Rose’s presence threatens to tear the family even further apart but, eventually, her interaction with each of the Brewers proves to be the very thing that brings them back together. Written and directed by Shana Feste, in her feature directorial debut, and starring Carey Mulligan in her first role since her Academy Award nominated performance in AN EDUCATION. |
