Synopsis

Ecki ia a young man who works in a bakery in Dortmund but also plays soccer for his local football team. Already a target for playing badly in recent matches, his homophobic team members chuck him out of the team when they find out he's gay.

Undeterred Ecki forms his own gay football team with the help of his sister and a former soccer star and then challenges his old team to a rival match in this romantic comedy.
