Synopsis

Peaches (Mo'Nique), an award winning hair stylist from Baltimore and her estranged sister Angela (Kellita Smith) get reacquainted when Peaches decides to travel to LA for a celebration in her sister's honor. The family reunion is bittersweet! Angela, the owner of an upscale salon in Beverly Hills soon finds out that Peaches is on the run from the IRS and has only a few days to pay $50 000 in back taxes.

After some hilarious moments and passionate exchanges, the two sisters finally join forces to fight off a pesky, rival salon owner, Marcella (Gina Torres). Now united, the siblings work at saving Peaches from her precarious situation by competing in the city's annual hair show for a lucrative cash prize.

HAIR SHOW proves that blood is indeed thicker than water in this touching and heartwarming film filled with laugh-out-loud, outrageous fun!
