Synopsis
For Nick (Jason Bateman), Kurt (Jason Sudeikis) and Dale (Charlie
Day) the only pleasurable thing to make the daily grind at work more
tolerable, would be to grind their intolerable bosses, (Kevin
Spacey), (Colin Farrell) and (Jennifer Aniston) into dust.
As quitting is not an option, the three friends devise a convoluted
and seemingly foolproof plan to extricate themselves of their
respective employers. Having had several drinks too many and under
the dubious advisement of a hustling ex-con (Jamie Foxx), they put
their flawless schemes into action. The only problem is that the
plans are only as prefect as the brains behind them...
Directed by Seth Gordon (FOUR CHRISTMASES, THE KING OF KONG: A
FISTFUL OF QUARTERS), the film stars Jason Bateman (COUPLES
RETREAT), Charlie Day (GOING THE DISTANCE) and Jason Sudeikis (HALL
PASS) star as the three hapless workers. Jennifer Aniston (HE’S
JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU), Colin Farrell (CRAZY HEART) and two-time
Oscar® winner Kevin Spacey (THE USUAL SUSPECTS), star as their
unbearable bosses. Oscar® winner Jamie Foxx (RAY) stars as the
plotters’ unlikely mentor, whose street cred is priced on a
sliding scale, while the main cast also includes veteran actor
Donald Sutherland and Julie Bowen (TV’s MODERN FAMILY).
