Synopsis
Remake of 1978 original that was directed by Meir Zarchi. Steven
Monroe's rape-revenge redo I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE, stars Sarah Butler
(I <3 VAMPIRES, CSI: NY and CSI: Miami TV series) in the lead
role as Jennifer. A talented, young writer, she decides to move to
an isolated cabin so she can concentrate on writing her latest
novel.
While filling up with gas one day she has a fracas with the local
boys, who are immediately insulted by this outsider and feel their
manhood is threatened by her strong, arrogant attitude. Johnny (Jeff
Branson) is not used to being rebuffed – no one says ‘no’ to
his face.
The group decide to teach her a lesson that culminates in Jennifer
having to endure a degrading rape ordeal which the town's sheriff,
Sheriff Storch (Andrew Howard), is even in on.
Jennifer narrowly escapes with her life, but the ordeal will change
her life forever. The inner strength that helped her survive is now
turned on her attackers and she will make them pay with their lives
for ruining her’s…
