Synopsis
"Revenge gets ugly."
Based on the legendary character, Jonah Hex, from the DC Comics,
this epic action adventure is centred on one man's personal quest
for redemption against a backdrop of the good and evil.
Starring Josh Brolin as Jonah Hex, this battle scarred
gunslinger who has cheated death, is a loner who can track down
anyone... and anything. He is a legend surrounded by myth with one
foot in the natural world while the other is on the 'other side'.
His only human connection is with Lilah (Megan Fox), a prostitute in
a brothel who has scars of her own.
Unexpectedly the US military approach Jonah with a proposition that
would clear the warrants on his head, if he delivers his arch enemy,
the sinister terrorist Quentin Turnbull (John Malkovich), to them in
exchange or his freedom. As Turnbull murdered Hex's family and
mutilated his face with a branding iron, Hex takes up the challenge
to exact revenge of his mortal enemy. Turnbull though is raising an
army and intent on unleashing Hell, in his determined and deadly
pursuit of seeing his oldest enemy, Jonah Hex dead.
