Synopsis
"What if you had a second chance to find true love?"
LETTERS TO JULIET is a romantic comedy about an aspiring American
writer whose holiday in the picturesque hometown of Shakespeare’s
most famous heroine leads to unexpected romance.
Sophie (Amanda Seyfried), has travelled from the States to Verona in
Italy - home of the star-crossed lover Juliet Capulet (Romeo and
Juliet). While there she becomes a volunteer with a group called the
"secretaries of Juliet" who reply to letters from
individuals writing in for advice on love matters.
Finding an unanswered "letter to Juliet", one of thousands
of missives left at the fictional lover's Verona courtyard, Sophie
embarks on a quest to find the lovers referenced in the letter.
