Synopsis
The drama explores the relations between a grief stricken father and
his three daughters.
Set in contemporary London, Sanjay’s wife, Manju, dies suddenly
and he is unused to having to deal with his three daughters and the
day-to-day household tasks. The
drama unfolds over a five-day period from Manju’s death to day of
the funeral.
Devastated by his loss, Sanjay finds himself re-assessing his
relationships with his three daughters. He is faced with a further
crisis when he discovers his youngest and most loved daughter Dia,
has a Muslim boyfriend, Imtiaz.
Confused and angry, Sanjay leaves home and wanders the streets of
London one night. An unexpected series of events, force Sanjay to
face his past demons, which he finally puts to rest. At the funeral
he has come to terms with himself.
