Synopsis

Good versus Evil, based on Irish folklore and expressed through the
universal language of dance, has thrilled audiences worldwide,

fans will have a once in a lifetime opportunity, when its creator,
producer, director and star, MICHAEL FLATLEY, brings it to the
screen in spectacular 3D. “LORD
OF THE DANCE IN 3D” gives the viewer unprecedented access to
Flatley’s performance, with an unparalleled sense of the scale of
the show, as never seen before.
An acclaimed multi-camera specialist with over 20 years’
experience in the live music industry, director MARCUS VINER has
collaborated with MICHAEL FLATLEY to capture the show’s incredible
energy and its ability to cross boundaries of age, gender and
cultural diversity. The
spectacular new set design, lighting, special effects and costumes
promise to excite and enchant audiences worldwide, making the show
an unforgettable experience.
Truly a global phenomenon, Lord of the Dance has been seen by more
than sixty million people in sixty different countries, on every
continent. MICHAEL
FLATLEY sold out twenty-one consecutive nights at Wembley Arena, as
well as thirteen consecutive nights in New York’s Radio City Music
Hall. He went on to appear at the legendary Madison Square Garden,
and tickets sold out within days of going on sale in Australia.
Remarkably, he then went onto break all known box office records in
South Africa. The show
completed an incredible six-year residency in Las Vegas and
performed before an audience of more than one hundred thousand in a
football stadium in Budapest, Hungary.
Now, for the first time ever, fans and audiences around the
world can enjoy watching the charismatic Michael Flatley dominate
the stage, while experiencing the movie event of the year.
