Synopsis
Christine (Kristin Scott Thomas) is a powerful executive who employs
a naïve, young assistant, Isabelle (Ludivine Sagnier) to work under
her. She finds it amusing to play on Isabelle’s naivety then teach
her a hard lesson in business ethnics.
However when one of Isabelle’s ideas tempts Christine to pass if
off as her own, she underestimates her protégé’s ambition and
cunning, and the scene is set for all out war.
In his final film, director Alain Corneau (SERIE NOIRE, TOUS LES
MATINS DU MONDE), pits the fiery talents of Ludivine Sagnier (A GIRL
CUT IN TWO) and Oscar-nominee Kristin Scott Thomas (THE ENGLISH
PATIENT) against each other when office politics turn, literally,
cut-throat.
