Synopsis
Writer/director Robert Rodriguez (SIN CITY, FROM DUSK TILL DAWN)
unveils his latest action adventure thriller when Machete (Danny
Trejo), a legendary ex-Federale becomes unwittingly implicated in a
political assassination.
Living a new life in Texas, Machete hides a tragic past when he was
left for dead by notorious drug lord Torrez (Steven Seagal). However,
mistaken as an ordinary labourer, Machete looks the perfect fall guy
for a political assassination. When Senator McLaughlin (Robert
DeNiro) is shot dead, Machete is suddenly a wanted man.
A legendary ex-Federale, Machete hasn't lost his deadly attitude or
skills to match, and now embarks on a mission to uncover a deadly
web of conspiracy and deceit determined to clear his name.
