Synopsis

THE MAN WHO BOUGHT MUSTIQUE is a documentary about British entrepreneur Colin Tennant, who purchased the Caribbean island of Mustique in 1956 for a small sum of money and developed it into a high-class resort. Visited by numerous rock stars and royalty in the 1960s and 70s including the well-known fact that Princess Margaret purchased a property there, Tennant eventually lost ownership and control of the island due to poor financial handling. Now a resident of nearby St. Luca, Tennant visits Mustique to give his views on the island's contemporary inhabitants.
