Synopsis
17 year-old Lisa Cohen (Anna Paquin) is a student at a New York City
high school, who is extremely concerned that she inadvertently
played a part in a fatal traffic accident. While she subsequently
tries to set things right, she becomes increasingly frustrated that
every step she takes to amend what has happened is met with
opposition.
The fallout from this unsettling situation implodes on her dragging
her downwards as she lashes out at her family, friends and teachers
as her ideals collides with the realities and compromises of the
adult world.
Directed by Kenneth Lonergan (YOU CAN COUNT ON ME).
