Synopsis

The final instalment to director Dario Argento’s horror trilogy, MOTHER OF TEARS unfolds when an ancient urn is unearthed in a cemetery in Rome. Innocently opened by an art student, Sarah Mandy (Asia Argento), mysterious and evil-looking women from all over the world begin to congregate in the city. Violent crime incidences also dramatically rise.

Leading this horrific army is the Mater Lacrimarum (Mother of Tears) played by Moran Atias – the third and last of three powerful witches whose demonic ways have terrorized innocents for centuries. All that stands in their way is Sarah who seems to possess supernatural abilities of her own…
