Jaibo however soon enough makes Pedro an unwitting accomplice to murder and the two boys' fates become intertwined. Jaibo becomes not only Pedro's surrogate father, but also his rival and inescapable tormentor. Los Olvidados was Buñuel's first major Mexican film and it established him as a world-class director and helped revolutionise Mexican filmmaking |
