Synopsis
Susan (Eva Green) is a dedicated, career scientist who puts her job
before her private life and has given up on many things outside
work, including love. When she meets Michael (Ewan McGregor), a
talented chef, her life suddenly shifts its focus and everything
starts to change.
While Susan and Michael are experiencing new and unforeseen depths
of feeling totally engrossed in a sensual adventure, people on a
global scale are also beginning to feel strange, as if something is
affecting their emotions.
Is this because they are falling in love or is it because the world
is falling apart?
