Synopsis

Coach Roy (Martin Lawrence) was once college basketball’s top mastermind. Recently though his attention have been distracted by his next endorsements, not his next game. Not only that Roy can’t control his temper on court leading to him being banned from college ball until he can “demonstrate compliance.”

As no coaching offers come up, Roy accepts an offer faxed on a hastily scribbled note to coach the Mount Vernon Junior High School “Smelters”. Hoping to restore his name as a celebrated college coach, little does Roy know what he’s let himself in for.

However along the way he finds something long thought lost, his love of the game, as he trains his junior squad to new heights.
