Left to fend for himself after his arrival in a mining town on the inhospitable Skeleton coast of Namibia he is adopted by an orphaned stable boy, Richard (Chase Moore). War approaches and he is once again abandoned until a young Bushman girl takes him into the desert and teaches him how to survive. Lucky's journey eventually leads him back to the destroyed mining town where he is reunited with a young mare, Beauty, whom he first fell in love with as a foal, and undertakes an heroic mission to defeat the domineering stallion Caesar to become the leader of the herd. |
