Christmas Eve for the residents of a quiet British cul-de-sac are bizarrely disrupted when a group of heavily armed military personnel descend on their road ordering them at gunpoint off the street and to remain inside their homes. Unexpectedly plunged into a world of violence, terror and paranoia, whilst equally unsure if this is the sign of a terrorist attack, or something much worse, one local mother finds the strength to desperately fight to save her estranged daughter stranded across the street.
