Synopsis
The job is simple, as long as they stick to the rules, tell the
client everything, leave and never come back.
Salesmen Davis (Ed Gaugham) and Bennett (Andrew Buckley) are in the
business of cleaning out skeletons from clients' closets and travel
all over the UK, wherever their job takes them. The enter and leave
other people's lives, performing 'the Procedure' whereby hidden
secrets and lies are exposed, literally fetching skeletons out of
closets.
Bennett, who rigidly adheres to the rules, discovers Davis has been
'glow-chasing'. This is the term for using the Procedure to
consistently re-live a past memory. It is illegal under their
employer’s (Veridical) rules and dangerous for the individual.
Glow-chasers can 'go Bulgarian' by experiencing a breakdown and then
finding they’re only able to speak and understand Bulgarian.
Bennett threatens to tell their boss, The Colonel (Jason Isaacs),
but decides to keep quiet, as he assigns them to a bigger job; which
could lead to more important jobs for Veridical. After travelling to
an isolated family home they can’t seem to complete the job and
discover that you can't always get away from your own skeletons…
