Synopsis
"It's a thin line between love and friendship."
Romantic comedy, SOMETHING BORROWED, stars Ginnifer Goodwin – the
eternally single Rachel. A talented attorney at a top New York law
firm, she is the generous, loyal friend and diligent maid of honour
of best friend Darcy (Kate Hudson). While Darcy breezes through life
taking what she wants, Rachel has always played by the rules,
quietly accepting the sidekick role.
However drinking too much on her 30th birthday party, lands good
girl Rachel in bed with the guy she’s had a crush on since law
school, Dex (Colin Egglesfield), who also happens to be Darcy’s
fiancé! As the wedding draws near Rachel has a difficult decision
to make, and seeks the guidance of her confidante and sometimes
conscience, Ethan (John Krasinksi).
Meanwhile John, who is secretly in love with someone else, is busy
evading the affections of Claire (Ashley Williams) - Darcy’s
hopelessly love-struck friend. Then to complicate matters further,
Marcus (Steve Howey), an irrepressible womanizer who can’t keep
his hands off any girl within his reach arrives on the scene.
SOMETHING BORROWED takes you on a journey that will make you laugh
and cry as the course of true love – and friendship - never did
run smooth…
