One day he receives a phone call that leads to the discovery of the remains of a boy brutally murdered 50 years ago. Det Adkins feels impelled to take on the case driven by his need to find forgiveness. Following up on some leads, Adkins visits Matthew Wakefield (Josh Lucas) who had been alive in 1958 with his innocent son John. Instinctively recognizing striking similarities in the two cases, Adkins is driven to unravel the clues that lead towards the revelation of what happened to his own son. |
