Synopsis
Inspired by true events, TEXAS KILLING FIELDS is an action crime
thriller about two detectives in Texas City, Texas trying to solve
several mysterious local murders.
The city’s detectives are fighting a spate of recent murders and
battling each other to solve them as the body count grows in the
haunted dumping ground known as The Killing Fields. Hard-nosed
homicide Detective Mike Souder (Sam Worthington) and his New York
transplant partner Detective Brian Heigh (Jeffrey Dean Morgan)
though are called to help in the case of a missing girl in a
neighbouring county.
There are no leads, no body and the detectives have just had another
homicide of their own in Texas City. However, when Little Anne
(Chloe Moretz) goes missing, a street kid that Brian has taken under
his wing, he instinctively feels she’s in the Fields and knows
he’s got to go in after her. His partner Mike follows his partner
in, but what they don’t know is if once you’re in The Killing
Fields, you’ll be lucky to come out alive…
