Synopsis

Based on the best selling novel by Elinor Lipman, THEN SHE FOUND ME is the directorial debut of Helen Hunt's and won the prestigious Audience Award at the 2008 Palm Springs International Film Festival.

In this romantic comedy drama, a teacher, April Epner (Helen Hunt), reaches a mid-life crisis when, in quick succession, her husband leaves, her adoptive mother dies and her real one, Bernice (Bette Midler), an eccentric talk show host, materializes and turns her life upside down, as Hunt begins a courtship with the father of one of her students.
