Synopsis
"He must trap his enemy to set them both free."
Set in 1903, the thriller TRACKER stars Ray Winstone (SEXY BEAST,
THE EDGE OF DARKNESS, 44 INCH CHEST) as Arjan, a guerrilla survivor
of the South African Boer War. Travelling to colonial New Zealand he
is hired to capture Kereama (Temuera Morrison - THE GREEN LANTERN,
ONCE WERE WARRIORS), a Maori seafarer accused of killing a British
soldier. promised a huge bounty.
Promised a huge bounty, Arjan is a skilful tracker, but what should
be a simple job for him turns into a gripping and dangerous game of
cat and mouse as Kereama repeatedly escapes only to be recaptured.
Always pleading his innocence, Kereama is as equally dexterous at
outmanoeuvring Arjan.
However, as each man gains and loses the upper hand, they gradually
get to know and earn each other’s mutual respect. Culminating in
an emotional and high-risk showdown, they find they have more in
common than a mutual hatred of the British...
